Ezatollah Entezami
(June 31, 1924 – August 16, 2018)
Actor and director of theater, cinema and television, known as “Mr. Actor” of Iranian cinema. He was the first Iranian actor to receive an award from an international festival. In 2003, Entezami was selected as one of the most enduring figures of Iran. A ceremony to honor and celebrate Iranian cinema actor Ezatollah Entezami was held in 2006, coinciding with October 2006, at the headquarters of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in Paris. The exhibition featured posters of films in which Entezami had starred, along with an archive of his personal photos and a plaque of appreciation for the film “Gav.”
