Nowruz
The celebration of creation and blossoming is a celebration of praise for existence and a symbol of resurrection. The spring celebration of Nowruz has been popular among Iranians for a long time, as a symbol of the rebirth of existence, and its historical background has been found before the arrival of the Aryans to this land among the native inhabitants of the Iranian plateau; however, based on the available evidence, the time of its celebration has been revealed from the Achaemenid era onwards, and therefore, remnants of the spring celebrations of the ancient Mesopotamian inhabitants have remained in this region, which in many cases are similar to the Nowruz ceremony. Also, considering the myths and customs of Nowruz that are still common among Iranians, it is not far from the truth that the Nowruz ceremony existed in ancient times among the native inhabitants of Iran, along with their Mesopotamian neighbors.
