The merganser is the heaviest bird capable of flying and one of the rarest birds in Iranian nature. The Eurasian ostrich is listed as “vulnerable” on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, but its situation in Iran has been threatened with extinction in recent years due to the limitation of its natural habitats, uncontrolled hunting, and disruption of its habitat and egg-laying areas, and is worrying due to the severe decline in its population. For this reason, it is one of the organisms for which the Environmental Protection Agency has prepared a special and long-term action plan for its protection and survival, and is currently implementing it.
Social responsibility: To support the environment and wildlife of Iran, Parnia Handicrafts will spend 20% of the price of each product on protecting the environment and endangered species. Only 100 pieces of this product have been produced, and after the product mold is completed, it will be destroyed during a ceremony attended by officials from the Iranian Gold and Silver Stamp Museum and stamp and environmental activists.
